The Rainbow Arcade is a diverse team of LGBTQIA+ streamers dedicated to providing a fun, positive safe-space on Twitch for the entire LGBTQIA+ community.
Diversity and Inclusion
The LGBTQIA+ community is incredibly diverse, and every story within our
community deserves to be heard and uplifted. The Rainbow Arcade is committed to intersectional
diversity and inclusion, which goes beyond sexual identity and includes minority representation,
gender identity, disability access, and more!
LGBTQIA+ individuals - in content creation and daily life - still need to
fight for a seat at the table. The Rainbow Arcade seeks to bring together diverse LGBTQIA+ voices to
help fight for and propel queer creators on Twitch and beyond.
Community Building and Safety
The Rainbow Arcade seeks to create safe spaces on Twitch for the
LGBTQIA+ family. Every team member is fully dedicated to ensuring safety for viewers and our
communities - both on and off of Twitch - no matter how one identifies.
We are just as committed to fighting for our LGBTQIA+ family
as we are committed to amplifying positivity and having fun! Every Rainbow Arcade team
member is unique (you can find anything from chaotic-fun to cozy-fun), but each one is
so excited to welcome you to their communities and wrap you up into fun gaming, art, and IRL experiences.
As a team, we are committed to working together to lift each
other and the entire LGBTQIA+ community up! Here are some of our events and
projects built on our commitment to our family in the LGBTQIA+ community.
The Rainbow Arcade is committed to giving back to organizations and
missions that are near and dear to us. Here are some of our most recent
team-driven charity campaigns!
World Wildlife Fund - Australia
In light of the massive fires which devastated Australia in 2019 and early 2020,
the Rainbow Arcade team raised money for WWF-Australia. WWF-Australia is a vital player
in helping rehabilitate animals and ecosystems affected by these fires.

The Rainbow Arcade is a team of LGBTQIA+ content creators dedicated to building inclusive, safe, and welcoming communities on Twitch and in the greater gaming community. LGBTQIA+ content creators still need to fight for a seat at the table. Because of this, it is our mission to ensure that LGBTQIA+ voices are heard in gaming and beyond, while also providing communities for viewers to feel seen, safe, and respected.
Our mission is to be a voice for the entire LGBTQIA+ community on Twitch to the best of our abilities. The application to join the Rainbow Arcade is open year round, and we accept new members on a case-by-case basis through an internal process where current members of the team review applications and make decisions on a rolling basis.
Additionally, the Rainbow Arcade seeks to amplify the voice of LGBTQIA+ content creators year round. We have already worked hard to promote non-team member streamers as well as viewers and community members (for example, during Black History Month, Women’s History Month, and Asian-American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, we sent out calls to the community-at-large to be involved in raising awareness and celebrating). Please keep an eye out on our team Twitter at @rnbw_arcade and on our website for these calls-for-submission.
Finally, if you are an LGBTQIA+ content creator or an LGBTQIA+ organization that would like to work with us directly on a project, campaign, etc., please reach out to us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. We’d love to chat with you about helping to amplify causes that are near-and-dear to you.
Applications are reviewed throughout the year on a case-by-case basis unless we have a larger call for applications. Applications are pooled together for review by the entire current membership of the Rainbow Arcade. Applications are also very competitive, so we recommend that - when applying - you take a sufficient amount of time to apply. Due to the amount of applications we receive and our unique team approach to reviewing, guidelines are created for team members to utilize while reviewing applications. As such, applications are reviewed with the following in mind:
1. Intersectional Diversity & Inclusion: The applicant should be a vocal proponent of diversity and inclusion on Twitch and beyond
2. Consistency: To be a consistent voice for the community, the applicant should stream regularly
3. Uplifting the Community: Both on Twitch and with their social media presence, applicants should strive to uplift all and call attention to issues facing our communities
4. Dedication to LGBTQIA+ Initiatives: Applicants should have a strong track record of supporting their fellow LGBTQIA+ streamers and LGBTQIA+ organizations
The entire current membership of the Rainbow Arcade team is involved in the decision-making process on applications. We ask our entire team to confidentially review applications based on four principles. We also strongly encourage the entire team to thoroughly review an applicant's Twitch and other social media presences. This process can be time-consuming, but we want to be as thorough and fair as possible. As such, please allow us sufficient time to review all applications, and please do not reach out to individual team members asking for information.
Please know that not being accepted to the team is not a reflection on you as a person, as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, or as a streamer. We know that there are so many amazing LGBTQIA+ content creators. However, our management capacities are limited, and we have a responsibility to sustainable team management for our members. We want to be mindful of our limitations, so that every team member feels supported by the Rainbow Arcade.
We also receive a large amount of applications on a daily basis. Again, if not accepted to the team, it is not a reflection on you or your content; we just receive so many wonderful applications that decisions come down to very small details.
Lastly, the application is always open, but it is divided into quarterly application periods. If you are not accepted during the quarter in which you apply, you cannot reapply within the same quarter. You may, however, reapply in a later quarter.
If you have further questions on why you weren’t accepted and you’d like to discuss why, feel free to email us at email@example.com. We will try and respond to all inquiries, but please understand that it may take some time for us to respond to your request.
Please email us at any time at firstname.lastname@example.org. A member of the Rainbow Arcade Leadership Team will respond to your email within 3-5 business days.
